What is SHADOW Home?

SHADOW Home is a residential, faith based program for women and their children. SHADOW will provide lodging, meals, clothing, laundry, etc. and the tools to develop a successful relationship with God and man. While staying at SHADOW the women will be expected to follow set guidelines and assist with household duties. 

The home has a long history in Taylorville ranging from a beauty salon, to a floral shop, and most recently as a computer store. The home has undergone extensive renovation to reach its present state.

"The best gifts are tied with heartstrings." All those involved with the new SHADOW home are excited about what they believe is the best gift they could give to needy women and children! SHADOW's name is acronym for Shelter Home and Discipling of Women originating from Psalm 57:1 -"...in the shadow of thy wings I will make my refuge, until these calamities be over past."
